Upperclass undergrad

Hi everyone-
I just started my third to last semester in college. I also just recently regained my interest in I.B. and I want to learn more.

I'd like to get my feet wet in the industry in the summer of 2015. This past summer I did stonework for a friend at home, good money, fulfilling work, but exhausting and ultimately shallow. The summer before that I took an internship with Northwestern Mutual-- I got licensed to sell in CT but life insurance wasn't really relevant to my immediate network (18-20 year olds), so I decided one summer was enough. There's no reason I can't revisit the life insurance gig later on.

Anyway-- any suggestions on landing an I.B. gig in 2015? I go to school 20 minutes outside of Boston and I've already started compiling a list of boutique firms in the city. Right now my education reads: Philosophy major, global studies minor, business studies minor. But I may swap the philo. major for a global studies major w/ a philo. minor and bus. minor. Perhaps a firm with an international focus??

Cheers.
