Urgent Intern Dilemma
I have been interning for about a month at a firm. At said investment company, I have been primarily doing non-finance work. That being said, I recently got an offer to be an investment banking analyst for the summer at a boutique. Would future employers look down upon me leaving my current position after only having it for a month? Should I stick it out at my current job even though I know I won't be learning as much? Should I even list the investment internship on my resume if I were to leave? I hope to be a summer analyst for a BB next summer if that changes anything. (I used search function and found 1 forum where the consensus was to leave. Just wanted to confirm) Thanks.
Leave, join boutique IB and leave the other internship off of your resume.
If you've really hated it up to this point and haven't gain knowledge or contacts, then just move on to the next one and leave the current internship off your resume
Leave and go to IB and then leave this job off your resume if the experience won't lend itself to what you want to do.
