I don't know the figures for the NY office.
From an European / London perspective, I think people still do good exits (large cap PEs) from the top groups, e.g., LevFin, Industrials.
Are you really interested in LevFin or rather eye on a M&A role? Depending when you need to sign and how confident you are in getting other offers when you are more into M&A, I would consider acting upon.
