US and UK Gear Up To Bomb Syria

What does everyone think of this?

How do you guys think this will affect strained relations with Russia?

How will this affect the economy?

How will Israel be involved and as a corollary, Iran?

Interested in hearing your thoughts on all of this - it could stand to have a domino effect in many different directions.

Russia has enjoyed the US's powerless response to them dangling Edward Snowden in front of them. Now, the roles reverse: we are going to act and the Russians will feel the sting of being able to do nothing, and being exposed for hyppocritically taking the moral high ground while in reality not doing so. Al Quaeda and a bunch of other groups that we frankly don't give a crap about will have a conniption because that's what they do, and they will denounce the great satan America....again. No one is surprised, it changes nothing, and next month they'll complain about something else. Let them bitch. As far as China's opinion goes: fuck China too. Yeah I said it. We're too intertwined to disturb this for what relatively compares to some petty regional squabble. Let them bitch too.

I think we should have done this years ago. As soon as the Arab Spring hit, president Obama should have been on the phone asking "HOW CAN WE HELP YOU HELP YOURSELVES?" Bush was a loose cannon with other people's money and lives, this Obama guy is too cautious...one would think that Bush was the liberal and Obama were the conservative in this aspect of foreign affairs. But who cares. Politics should come second to reality...

Bomb the crap out of Assad and what's left of his power base. Here's a chance to whack a dictator, reclaim the moral high ground, position ourselves behind a (hopefully democratic) new government, and stick it to Russia. All with the push of a few buttons. We know where Assad is, we know who the insurgent leaders are, we know exactly how to get things on line by perhaps the end of today.

Pull the trigger.

Time to bomb the guy with the Hitler 'stache back to the stone age. Release the kraken now, but spare his wife. She was a wannabe IB'er before marrying, maybe we can get her thoughts on WSO

Also worth noting that Syria and Iran have a mutual defense agreement. We couldn't start an unjustified war with Iran over the Nuclear Weapon straw man, so we may get them through Syria intervention. They want to keep that corporate defense contractor welfare flowing...

Gotta love the only nation to drop a nuclear weapon on two civilian cities getting upset over SUSPECTED chemical weapon use.

Do we even know what these rebels stand for? We help overthrow Libya for the rebels and how is that working out? I am actually very happy with China and Russia asserting themselves more. We've been global bullies for too long.
