Ok unlike the other unhelpful answers I'll give it a shot. I'm surprised no one has pointed out the obvious...you don't have to buy Iranian stocks to get access to Iran. In fact there are already 1-2 decently sized listed equities with significant current Iranian exposure. After that you would mostly be looking at Turkish consumer (Iran as an end market), Turkish refiners (better margins on lower quality Iranian crude), Dubai logistics firm (big chunk of trade to Iran goes through here), Dubai real estate firms (400 k Iranians live in UAE), or Saudi petrochemical. Oil futures aren't a great way as too many other factors impacting it and western energy sector firms are years away from being relevant. Whether the sanctions come off as smoothly as some may expect is another question...good luck

If you are able to walk through with sound logic on why you want to invest in Iran outside of just what you are watching on the TV. I'm sure someone will be able to provide you with a good suggestion. But just asking "Hey how do I get exposure to Iran?" is essentially the same as asking someone to do all the work and you just sit back and reap the benefits.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.
