US population - Is this article accurate?

My passports the wrong colour, so this won't really ever affect me but is this accurate? Makes me wonder just how accurate the word minority is these days.
I can't validate the data, but it isn't a surprising trend at all. White birth rates are falling, while most immigrants are non-white and tend to have larger families. Whites are still the largest population group by far, but that may change in the not too distant future as well.
It's the minority when comparing "non-Hispanic whites" versus every other group combined. It's still the largest individual group though.
Yeah, I don't really think it's a surprise. The data has probably been trending this way for a long time.
