USC vs Santa Clara

For undergrad, do you guys think that SCU (Santa Clara) or USC will give me a better chance for ib recruiting on the west coast? I know USC is a bigger name school, but SCU is in SF, which supposedly has more opportunities than LA, which should give it a location advantage. which do u guys think is ultimately better for ib recruiting?

I go to usc. This is correct. We are definitely third in the west coast school rankings for banking, and probably second overall in pure placement numbers because Stanford is much smaller and everyone does CS

Def USC as it is a semi target w a ton of alum in West Coast banking.

SCU is a good school but has only a handful of alum

I have been hearing more about SCU lately. I think it's a reputable non target like ASU, so if you grind you most likely will get offers from EB and maybe even BB.

SCU student (BB IB intern) - SCU you can get into IB if you grind but you should 100% go to USC. if you want to know more i can pm you

Also a SCU student with a BB offer, love the school, I think it is great and people are happy, but placement wise USC is probably a better bet. That said SCU banking culture is growing, we have a good club, and alumni really go to bat for students so let me know if you chose SCU and we can link!
