UTSC or UTSG???
Hey everyone!
I am an international student and I have just received an amazing scholarship from UofT. My first choice is Double Degree in Management & Finance (BBA) and Statistics—Quantitative Finance Stream (BSc) and my second choice is typical Rotman commerce. I am interested to work (like most people here) in BB/HF/PE/VC or MBB consulting in US/UK, Canada, or Southeast Asia.
I am curious, which choice is for me? Here is my thinking:
UTSC: easier (debatable), coop program (maybe inferior to summer internships), and more leadership positions.
UTSG: reputable (some say that they both have the UofT reputation), better recruitment, and bigger alumni base.
I understand that many people here are saying that Queens and Ivey are the best and the only best, but I need the scholarship to be able to fund my study. Also, Ivey and Queens are not very popular outside of North America (according to some people in the industry I talked to). But I am not certain about this just yet, so is it easy to transfer from UofT to Ivey?
That's all I'm curious about really. It'll be nice to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
Hey Jordi-Putra, what a lonely thread. I'm here since nobody responded ...so maybe one of these discussions will help:

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
Both campus advertise that they offer the same University of Toronto degree, but it's a lie. If you go to UTSC, You get a University of Toronto Scarborough degree. And if you got to UTSG, you get a University of Toronto Degree.
When you apply to BBs in Canada, they ask you to clarify if you go to UTSG, UTM, UTSC, or Rotman. And needless to say, the prestige and preference of course goes to Rotman. Don't worry about the double major, almost every kid from st. geroge finish with a double major. If your major combination are cross-faculties then you get double degree but it really doesn't matter all that much.
UTSC offers quantitative finance and UTSG offers something equivalent - mathematical finance and economics. But I heard Rotman been picking its career services so I'd defintely recommend you to stick with Rotman unless you want the quant jobs
My recommendation is similar to Ikhto. I would go for Rotman just because of the brand name of both U of T St George, as well as Rotman Commerce itself. Though the CO-OP programme is a huge plus if you're able to get into one of those CO-OP only bank internships, but no guarantee and the Rotman name still better.
