UVA vs. USC (Undergrad)

I would really appreciate any insight on the above undergrad decision.

I have narrowed it down to these two schools (over other schools like Mich, BC, UNC, etc.) and am also pursuing the waitlists of some higher-target schools like Dartmouth and Georgetown. I know I would definitely like to study business on the undergrad level but am by no means dead-set banking.

The 4-year business program of USC and the overall experience certainly make it the place where I would prefer to spend my 4 years. However, I do understand that UVA is the better school from the recruiting, prestige, brand aspects (particularly for NYC/East Coast finance). Obviously, hard work and networking would be required from both, but UVA seems to be the path of least resistance if I can get into McIntire.

Is the placement advantage of UVA worth the slightly less-appealing experience? Is it nearly impossible to get back to NYC coming from USC?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Go to UVA. Also, you seem to discount the experience at UVA. It's actually a great time even though the weather may not be as good. But are you making your decisions more on career or quality of life for 4 years? UVA is a definite target for NYC and is a fun school, definitely more prestigious than USC. But if you want west coast, go to USC.
