Valuation Career at Accounting Firm

Quick background, college senior with accounting background with 0 modeling/valuation experience

Took classes in investment analysis and statistic (regression) class.

I’ll be joining the Valuation group focusing on complex securities for non-b4 accounting firm HCOL as an associate and have few questions to ask.

  1. I guess this depends on the team/project, but on average, what does a typical day look like? Word load, hours, travel, etc.
  2. How flexible is it to transfer/work on a project with a different group, such as business valuation and TAS?
  3. What are some typical exit opps for complex securities valuation? Is it narrower than regular bval?

Thanks
