VC funds investing in emerging markets?
Currently a Quant doing AI research. My job is third research, third, engineering, and a third product management. Got some biz ideas to pursue and eventually want to jump to VC.
But part of my interests have always been in emerging markets. I find the idea of building a relationship with some visionary entrepreneur in Nigeria/Vietnam/Indonesia/etc... who came from nowhere but is incredibly smart very very exciting.
It seems like it'd be a very rewarding work both emotionally and financially.
Anyone know funds that do this? What can I do to break into these funds?
