Venture Capital Offer
Friend gave me a call yesterday. He has final rounds tomorrow with a small VC fund. They are supposed to give him the final decision on Wednesday. Only about eight people total, so he asked if he should write a few of the senior VPs he connected with and let them know that the firm is his top choice. I told him no b/c it would look desperate, but having second thoughts since it might be positive to convey interest and show enthusiasm. Overall job market sucks, so I want to give him the best advice possible and I'm sure people have been in similar situations with PE, VC, hedge funds. Thoughts?
