I agree to an extent. But these events are always staged with a thousand cameras around. He wants Russians to believe he is their savior.

The articles always say hey is on vacation and just happened to be shirtless when the cameraman found him. Reminds me a bit of Ron Burgandy - "Everyone come see how good I look!"

As for Obama's jeans I think that is a little too much. Jeans look fine. I mean is he supposed to come out with some True Religions or something lol. I will give him a pass on that stuff.

Seriously though, I read somewhere that he appears doing so many manly things and shirtless so often because as he says, Russia is full of fat vodka lovers, and so he believes that showing a fit, primal leader is setting a good example for his country.

The article then continued by saying Obama embodied this concept on his vacation, walking around in his trunks and whatnot. However, Obama's "chicken bone" body doesn't hold a match to Putin.

Yeah, Putin really came out trying to change the Russian image. He was pushing people to quit smoking, stop drinking, be more fit.

Flat out, Putin is epically bad ass. Why can't we elect someone like that. Like Arnold. Imagine if Putin was president, you think he would pussy foot around. He would punch some wimp congressman in the face. So great.

LOL I think Vladimir is a bit sharper than your average terminator. FYI they are all from the same St. Petersburgh team with a number of German connections if you will. Just a curious observations for those that care.

They built a very interesting hybrid gov't corporation up there, just don't think it is sustainable in the end. If they want to survive they have to attract the trained, smarter people back. That part isn't so easy when you local policeman will boot you in the face if you don't give him a cool 1k for passing his way.

Also, even though a lot of Putin's bad ass stunts are staged, he still is jacked and a bad ass in his own right. It saddens me that it seems that Russia is moving more towards old school Russia instead of becoming more free. With that said I still think Putin is a great leader and I like a lot of the things he has done.

Could we please get a bad ass President. How about a jacked President with a USA flag tattoo haha.
