Waiting on Corp Dev Offer- Growing Company Salary Expectations?

Hey WSOers,

I recently had a final interview with a growing company in the North East Corp Dev Analyst position. There has been limited talk about salary, mostly talks of "market rate" etc. Orginally there was a discussion of no deal-based bonus structure, but after discussion that base salary would likely need to go up w/o a bonus, the hiring manager came back and said deal-based bonuses would be added. So my question is, coming out of undergrad what should I expect base salary to be at a growing company, and what could the bonus structure look like? Ive found different infor on IB bonuses but almost nothing signifigant on CD.

For backround they're planning to do upwards to 10 deals ranging from 1m-50m over the next 6-8 months.

If you need anymore info feel free to post questions below and I'll answer best I can.

The reason you have not found much info on this is because salaries in corp dev vary widely. Based on my experience interviewing at multiple firms, experienced hires usually start around $100k with bonus ranges of 5% to 15%, but I have also seen much different compensation packages. This is of course for experienced hires, and I unfortunately do not have any data points of salary ranges for candidates fresh out of undergrad.

a decent starting point would be a traditional fp&a financial analyst salary for the firm then apply a 5% premium. i doubt it would be more than 5% since this is entry level. you should confirm the bonus structure then get back to us. either way this is entry level so focus on the quality of the experience vs. comp.
