Waiting period after final interview? REPE acquisitions

Had a final round with CEO and some VP's of a REPE for an acquisition role two days ago. It's a small shop (on the east coast) so there was no structured hiring process with HR etc... 4 rounds with 6 people from the investment team.

Throughout the final interview I had very positive feedback about my experience and attitude so far: "Impressive experience" "perfect set of internships for the role" etc. and the call ended with the head of acquisitions saying "I look forward to working with you."

I sent a short follow up "thank you for interviewing me" yesterday and have yet to receive any reply.

Should I be worried about a lack of communication? or am I just tripping right now for no reason.
