If you know and believe in how you create value, meaning is derived.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

I will assume this is the same user whose fiancee left him based on the job title (correct me if I'm wrong, that would make this very awkward). Let me start by saying that I've never been in that experience before so take my words with a grain of salt, but it's obviously left you a little roughed up. And that's normal, but I want to be the one to tell you that eventually you have to get over it. Yes, I know at first I may sound like a dick and might get monkey shit, but it's the truth. Trust me, I know, the last thing anyone wants to hear in a situation like this is "stop feeling sorry for yourself". But it's the truth. Think of it like this: having your fiancee break up with you is hard. Pushing through all the bullshit is also hard. Choose your hard. I can't promise that you'll feel any better in the process, but what I can promise is that you'll be a fuck's sight better afterwards than if you had just decided to let it to destroy you. This might be the hardest thing you've ever gone through, but if you can muster up the courage to pull yourself out of this hole you will look back, laugh, and thank this situation for making you a stronger person. Also, looking at the title of this thread, you need to knock that shit off. Everyone goes through stuff like this, but you have the power to let it ruin you or forge you into a better person. Hell, yesterday was the three year anniversary of my childhood friend's suicide, and from that I can promise you that time heals all wounds. Again, I know it's easier said than done, but when you stop letting this control you, you will realize that a happy life has been waiting for you this whole time (as financeabc would echo, "when will you realize, Vienna waits for you"). Finally, as a disclaimer, I am obviously not a therapist or mental health professional. If you really do continue to experience serious depression or suicidal thoughts, go talk to a professional. They'll be able to help you more than I can. But I hope this has been a kick in the ass in the right direction. I'll attach below a few songs and videos that really helped me get through some dark times and I hope they can be of some use to you. Some may say they're corny, but they truly helped me. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to PM me. Godspeed.
