Wall street Prep before SA or FT?

I'm interning as a SA at a BB this summer in IBD. Should i take wall street prep before this summer to try and be ahead of the curve? I imagine they won't really expect me to know modeling.

I know FT is when the training for modeling really occurs. Would you recommend a program like wall street prep before FT training to stay ahead of the curve?

I just don't want to be the only summer who doesn't know how to model. any help is appreciated.

Pretty much none of the SA's last summer knew much about modeling, and nobody expects you to. The analysts might let you do part of a model, but it's not like any SA is going to go in there and start taking over models. Don't worry about it for the summer.

Does that mean taking some modeling classes might actually put an SA ahead of peers? or just not worth it cuz analysts expect you to fuck up and you prob should?
