Wall Street Prep Premium Package - Worth It?

Hi everyone,

Like many others on this site, I am looking to break into Investment Banking. I have a business background that is focused in operations/supply chain (I am ~2 years out of undergrad), but I have minimal finance experience. I plan on pursuing an MBA or MS in Finance in the future, but in the meantime, I am looking at financial modeling courses online.

Wall Street Prep's Premium Package (~$425, with WSO discount) caught my eye. Has anyone taken this course? Is it worth the money (i.e., did it help get you a finance/IB analyst role even if you didn't have a finance/accounting background?)

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you can split it, I actually think it's worth it if you don't have much modeling experience. Macabacus is a fantastic resource but it's so detailed that it's easy to miss the forest for the trees. I found that WSP teaches the mechanical aspects a lot more easily and it's nice to have someone doing it on a video so you can replicate it until you understand/rewind to see it again. I went from knowing essentially nothing about modeling to being able to churn out a three statement model in time and then I learned how to do M&A and lbo models.

Did it directly get me a job? No, but I would absolutely say it was beneficial in being able to hit the ground running.

I got this sponsered to me by my school and and its amazing I am taking it now.. I am trying to join to join the investment banking program at our school and I havent taken an accounting class even. Buy it! You also get a certification at the end ( if you do well in the exam)

I want a lady on the street, but a freak in the bed, Go Bucks!!
