Wall Street Prep vs CFI?
Hello WSO,
Would any of you recommend taking the WallStreetPrep course or the Corporate Finance Institute course? I am looking at the WSP premium ($500) vs the CFI FMVA Self Study (also $500). I have time to do it this summer before school starts again.
** Pros and cons of each would be great. **
Thanks.
2020 Update: WSO Elite Modeling Package Now Available Here
Wall Street Prep is really great and worth the money. There are a lot of videos for one topic (I think the LBO one had 72 videos or something like that) and they provide the supplementary excel for you to play around with and additional materials to download. Very worth it imo
Interested in this as well. I am familiar with WSP, but want to hear from someone that has used CFI. I have checked out some of their free videos on YouTube and it has been helpful.
Bump
I would recommend you the following: - Buy WSP - Read and be curious exploring CFI and WallStreetMojo resources - Add the YouTube videos of BISW
WSP Premium Package has good material and a lot of free courses to get to know industries specifics or other skills (PowerPoint, Negotiation, etc). CFI/WSM/WSP resources explain a lot of the gaps in the concepts that you may find in the videos. Finally, I've found another way to look to several concepts or process by watching BISW YouTube videos.
I haven't used CFI paid courses but I've found its resource videos to be useful too
what is BISW?
I’m sorry it was BIWS (“Breaking Into Wall Street”)
