Wallstreet training videos ... samples???
Hello everyone! I am starting university for finance in the spring coming from 1 year at CC. I have searched for topics on the best financial modeling courses and I had a few questions. I downloaded some videos from the wallstreet training course and I do like it however the quality of the videos is very low (not HD) and seems a little dated. This might not be the case If I actually buy it if it has been updated.
What is everyone's favorite training course? The most intersting and easiest to learn from. I am a complete beginner haven't even taken any finance classes yet (besides accounting) but I am very capable of learning on my own. I want to learn enough that I will have a competitive edge going into university with internships and getting into the investment banking program they have. So basically I just need to learn the basics of DCFs, projections, and building it in excel.
In addition to the courses what are some of the best books? Remember I need to know how it all works as well as modeling in excel.
I figure that most of the courses are around 500 dollars and this is the cost of one class so it would be money well spent. If anyone has any sample videos of the most used courses that would be very helpful!

CC = community college? city college?
community college. Are those books accessible for a beginner or do they assume you know a decent amount already? I also prefer videos if anyone has any opinions on those or samples.
