Does anyone have any insight into the Analyst program? It looks like they just take a bunch of Wharton / Harvard kids, but how is the program compared to BX, KKR, etc. I know it's older than the KKR program.

Went to their info session. It's a four year program, with inferred promotion to Associate after two years with an option to stay on as a third year associate. Once you get the offer, you're placed into one of their industry groups. Heard they have lean teams, so analysts get good responsibility working on new investment opportunities with select portfolio company work. Once you finish the four year program, there are two paths to VP; either a direct promote or option to go to business school (sponsored) as Warburg has outreach programs at HBS, GSB, and Wharton. Sounded like an amazing opportunity in my opinion, but obviously pretty selective on who they take on. Most of the analysts that they accepted come from top targets (Harvard, Wharton, MIT, etc) who interned at top banks for junior summer (PJT RSSG, Qatalyst, GS TMT, etc).

Got an invite for a second round - anyone know what they ask??
