Warwick Uni vs Kings College vs NYU (CAS)

Hello, I'm a student at a school in Europe and I have been admitted to NYU CAS and have offers from King's College London and Warwick University. Currently, I am trying to decide which uni should I attend but I'm having difficulties. I'm talking about undergraduate degrees, and I surely want to pursue an MBA at top schools in the US or at INSEAD. I am fascinated by Investment Banking and probably this is what I want to do later in my life (or real estate), after my master's degree. I'm considering NYU because it is the CAS and not Stern, and not only that but its cost is much higher than the other two. I would love living and study in NYC but I don't know if it is a city for an 18-year-old. I know Warwick is a great uni but I wouldn't want to live at Coventry since I have heard that it is miserable and I want to live in a big city, in order maybe to begin a start-up at either London or NYC, since I have many ideas. About King's, I know that its the worst uni of them all but it is cheaper than NYU and I prefer it to Warwick because it is in London rather than Coventry. I honestly would love to hear opinions from all of you to where to go, considering internship opportunities, uni life, masters degrees opportunities and finally job opportunities. Lastly, my father works at a bank in Europe and has many connections that would probably get me an interview at IB's in the UK (in the US he doesn't have any connections) and that's why I think going to Kings would be okay.
Thank you very much in advance

P.S. I forgot to mention that if I go to the UK I will be studying Pure Economics, but if I go to the US I will be studying Economics w/ Maths

Thank you very much for your reply. So, are you satisfied by the Warwick uni life and job opportunities etc. ? Also, I will be studying Econ if I go to the UK and Econ and Maths if i go to the US

Current Econ student at Warwick. Warwick lifestyle may not be as good as a KCL but just know that because it is a campus uni you will get to meet a lot of people, not just coursemates or flatmates (vs potentially being one face among many in a city like London).

Coventry is not a great place but Leamington is a lot better (and also where most of the social life is concentrated).

Recruiting wise it absolutely kills it (just did a Spring Week at one of the top EBs and it was the 2nd most represented uni after Oxford). KCL also had a decent representation so in case you do ultimately decide that Warwick life is not for you KCL is not a bad option. My personal opinion is if you do have to live in London after uni for work its better to get a change of setting and pace during your uni years. Experience something new.

Feel free to pm any questions regarding the uni/course :))

Thank you for your reply, I will surely PM you if I have any questions about Warwick (if I decide to go there possibly about dorms etc.) However, as I stated above how does NYU compare to those 2? I don't expect you to know since you are studying in the UK, just asked.

I actually applied to US unis as well and did get into NYU CAS but ultimately turned it down for the following reasons:

1) Cost- Well this was the main reason since US unis in general are expensive (3 vs 4 yrs) and NYU is one of the most expensive of the US unis.

2) The disadvantage of not being in Stern- While students from CAS do well for themselves with a bit of effort, the ultimate factor of always fighting against Stern students put me off. This is not to say CAS isn't good. I have a couple of friends in CAS who are doing well/know upperclassmen who have done well.

Tho internationally, the NYU name will carry a lot more than Warwick or Kings, I'd say ultimately it comes down to US vs UK and which lifestyle you will prefer (campus vs city). Recruiting wise you cannot really say anything because no one knows what will finally happen of Brexit vs going up against the H1-B lottery in the US (assuming you are not a US citizen and will require a visa). Be warned though that from what I've gathered from this forum banks in US are increasingly reducing sponsorship of internationals because of the lottery system.

Hope this helps you make a better informed decision.

Can please tell me how the MORSE course is at Warwick University? I currently have an offer to study that course and am struggling which university to choose between Warwick(MORSE course), Edinburugh (Maths and Stats) and KIngs (Maths with Stats).

If you do go to King's expect to be the butt of LSE students' jokes, it's a decent uni but for some reason LSE kids' favorite pastime is shitting on King's.
