Watson on Jeopardy
Anyone else watching Watson on Jeopardy? He is doing very well, competing against Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter. The rise of the machines is happening, right now.

I miss being 15 with AIM
Watson is really fascinating. Truly something to behold. Can't believe how far they've gotten.
It was an interesting game. Watson has some kinks which made it fun to watch.
What if Watson started mocking Ken and talking shit?!?
Watson: in Stephen Hawking/computer voice "Ken, don't make me bitch slap you in front of America."
Ken: "What?!?"
Watson: again, in a Stephen Hawking/computer voice "Bitch please, you fucking heard me"
Ken: "Whatever man."
Watson: same Stephen Hawking/computer voice as before "Don't talk back to me. How about I call your mother on the telephone and see if she would like to go on a date?
Ken: "Yeah, I doubt that is going to happen"
Watson: again with the voice "Why not? I'm sure we have lots in common. We can start off by sharing stories of how you've been spanked by both of us...you little bitch!"
Regards
Best part of the episode was when Ken Jennings (the blond) got an answer wrong, then Watson buzzed in with the exact same wrong answer and Trebek scolded the computer as if it were a human.
something like "No watson Ken just guessed that and it was wrong"
Ken Jennings about the computer, 'Watson has lots in common with a top-ranked human 'Jeopardy!' player: It's very smart, very fast, speaks in an uneven monotone, and has never known the touch of a woman.'
What happens when Ken Jennings shows up with a super soaker and blasts Watson's ass after his first buzzer? I envision Trebek launching across the screen to defend his new best friend.
But there was a key difference between the two games and Watson's response time. It's not like Brad and Ken didn't know the answer, it's just that Watson had an unfair advantage of being faster on the button. Also, in part about the speed, the human takes a second to process information, find an answer, and then determine if the risk of answering the question is acceptable. Watson felt non of he momentary hesitation before deciding to buzz in.
