They have a really good reputation amongst institutional investors because they don't practice any prop trading so they are always focused on their clients. They've picked up a lot of people from BB's in the recent years, and I have heard nothing but good things about them from people on the buy side. They have a group of analysts frequently quoted on BBerg and Reuters, but aren't a company that is going to be a household name.
They have a lot of history in the field; they specialize in block trading, and their CEO sits on the floor much like a manager would at a HF to make calls on leverage.
