Weekender bag suggestions

Hey Monkeys,

I am an incoming summer analyst and am looking for any suggestions on a good overnight duffle bag. I am looking to spend less than $200 and was hoping to find a great bag that is both functional and looks good.

Thanks!

That's a pretty tight budget for a "nice" weekender. Two that come to mind are the leather duffel from Combatant Gentleman ($180) or something from Herschel. I'm certainly not an expert on bags, so you might be able to get a better recommendation from someone else, but that might be a good place to start. Good luck

Yeah at $200 you should drop "looks good" and focus more on something low key that is well made.

Don't think I'm talking down to you either - I'm all about not blowing unnecessary cash on luggage - but @Jake_G" hit the nail on the head. You're not finding something fancy at that price.

I'm a huge fan of the Filson Duffle. Size small is all you'd need for the weekend, and use mine all the time for exactly that. Easily fits 3-4 outfits and extra pair of shoes. Famous rugged American-made manufacturing was the huge bonus factor for me. I have the classic tan but navy is more sophisticated If that's your style.

You can find on eBay "new old stock" for just above $200. BB also sells them and if you wait for a sale, I've seen them 30-40% off.
