Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Market Summaries?
Anyone know of a good resource that give summaries per week/month/year of notable events that occur in the financial markets?
I have a wall street journal subscription, but sometimes I get really busy with university and would love to have a resource to fall back on.
Looking for something that covers equities news, major M&As, major earnings results, IPOs, domestic economic news, federal reserve statements, commodities news (like WTI crude and gasoline, gold), and international events/indicators.
Thanks in advance!
Wow, seriously? Nothing?

bump. saw this as a related thread and noticed it got no attention, wanted to give my $0.02.
ask your parents if they have investments with a firm that produces research. all big firms have the ability to put you on email lists for periodicals, ask for this.
follow some fund managers you enjoy. if you don't yet have your investment philosophy honed, go across the board. get some value, growth, technical, international, emerging, etc. and don't forget about fixed income! Jeff Gundlach, Bill Gross, Joe Dean, and Tad Rivelle are all good.
make sure you follow people with opposing viewpoints. For example, John Hussman & Jeremy Siegel, extremely different, both very smart however. it will be confusing at first, but worthwhile.
here's what I'd recommend to start (and you can google all of these and should be able to find):
David Kelly/JPM guide to the markets Bill Gross periodicals (PIMCO) Bob Doll Nuveen weekly commentary (I personally don't read, but he's still a good writer) Howard Marks memos (Oaktree) Warren Buffett shareholder letters
Thanks for those sources. Any other advice/research or reading you would recommend on how to form a view on macroeconomics?
