Welcome Isa Khan to WSO

My parents and I was at the Bauer Business School ( University of Houston) to check out the school. (I have a low SAT score because I screwed around in high school.)

The people that ran the Entrepreneurship program was trying to sell their program to me because they said it's "right" for me. In the process, here's the story I overheard the office talk about. Later, I asked a current student in the program and they said it's 100% true.

Here's Isa Khan's story.

MD Isa Khan aka Isa Khan was a graduate from the Entrepreneurship program (Class 2009). He interned at Morgan Stanley (Private Wealth Management) Houston Office (600 Travis St, 37th Floor) in the summer of 2008. Mr. Khan saw that Morgan Stanley was run very poorly so he decided to draft up a proposal on how the company can be improved. Instead of doing this "job", he decided to send his plan to the CEO of Morgan Stanley. After 1hour of hitting the send button, 4 layers of management above him was coming down on him.

I know someone on this forum knows someone in this office, is there a way you guys can post this guy's strategic plan to improve Morgan Stanley. I want to learn from success alumni of the Entrepreneurship program at UH.

The linked to his Linkedin....

My goal is to obtain a financial analyst position where I can use my business valuation, financial statement analysis, financial modeling and accounting skills to increase profitability.

I have Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in both Finance and Entrepreneurship from the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. I have 6 hours of accounting courses and currently enrolled in additional 6 hours.

I performed analytical roles in Morgan Stanley and University of Houston for 2 years. Besides, I have experience in retail and restaurant for 2+ years.

Lord:
I think, I THINK he first talked about the guy who got the attention of 4 layers of management. Then he posted a link, decided we're not intelligent enough to click on it, so he found the need to paste wat was on linkedin.

LOL

WTF are you rambing about?

You say he sent an email to the CEO and management came down on him, wtf would you expect to happen - he gets praised for his genious intern insight on the structural issues of one of the world's largest powerhouses? He teaches John Mack a thing or two about running a bank and Mack gives him a managerial role?

This thread has no point, and no logic to its composure... learn how to logically write a story before posting something that seems heroic, or idiotic, depending on how you look at it (idiotic IMO)...

DOUCHE!

Btw, if these are the hardcore stories that motivate your college acceptance decisions, then Bauer Business School is for YOU!
