Wellington Long/Short

Hi All - was hoping to hear thoughts on working at Wellington's long/short funds. Based on past experience and looking over past posts I know they have a great reputation, but don't have as many touchpoints into working as an analyst within a larger asset manager.

Having done the traditional banking -> pe route, most of my network looking to invest on the public side have moved to larger mult-managers (ie. Citadel, P72 etc.) and not on the AM side (please ignore the lack of precision in this term).

Would really appreciate any insight, happy to pm for additional details as well.

Curious as well. I would speculate little is known about their L/S funds because it's not their bread and butter ($32Bn in alts is tiny compared to other strategies). Their L/S funds have been around since 1994 at least and their overall alts arm is probably growing gangbusters nowadays. Anyways it's hard as hell to get a seat there so I wouldn't expect many to have the inside scoop.
