Hi guys, I have an upcoming entry level interview with welltower, the healthcare REIT. Would seriously appreciate any insight about the company, the industry, and how best to prepare for the interview / what to expect. Thanks.

What department?
Investment analyst I believe
Public REIT interviews are the easiest to prepare for because there’s mountains of information on them through their public filings.
Read their latest investor presentations, read all of their press releases for news on deals / capital raises, read their earnings call transcripts, look over their most recent 10-q and 10-k
Awesome! I’ll definitely be studying that for the next week. Appreciate the advice
Good luck! Roll Hoosiers
I’ve been researching through CapIQ and learned a bunch about the company. If this isn’t too simple, how do you think would be the best way to use this information in the interview?
Listen to their earnings call while you workout at the srsc
Any insight on comp?
Based on Glassdoor it looks like about 90k all in, not sure if that’s accurate
base may be the same throughout but bonus comp varies extremely for top performers
Comp at welltower is through the roof. You’ll have an amazing experience but be warned, hours are absolutely brutal. Consistent 80-100 hour work weeks. Friend is a VP and he will say he works harder now than as when he was an IB analyst.
Through the roof? Idk what they pay but in my experience REIT pay (even at top REITs) is garbage compared to PE. The exception being the C-suite guys - they are paid insane
They are an outlier. And you’ll earn the money. You’ll be working absolutely crazy hours.
How much do they pay for an Associate position?
$300
Mind sharing the ballpark for analysts?
get the job, the money will come if you can hang!!
will vary heavily based on location, education and who you know.
