I know a guy who used to work there but quit. It's a sweatshop; they don't really train you but just sit you down and expect you to make money. Terrible place to work at, and you get no transferable skill sets. Don't expect to land jobs at elite prop shops, banks, or hedge funds, with WH on your resume.
I have an interview there too. Do they have a New York office? My sibling at a HF in the NYC area is pretty sure that he knows a couple guys that left a place called AQR to work there. Said that AQR is pretty legit, but doesn't know about Chicago firms. What do you mean by sweatshop? Are the hours long, or is it a revolving door? Can't find much info online. I found they are in some secret trading group, http://www.futuresindustry.org/ptg/membership.asp, at least according to the nytimes "Fast Traders, in Spotlight, Battle Rules." Is their reputation poor?
Please tell me you are joking. AQR is one if not the top quantitative hedge fund in the world. Its run by former GS superstar trader Cliff Asness.

Hi everyone.
I was just wondering what kind of questions (technical,probability/quantitative, and behavioral) they may ask. It seems like an average place to get a start with trading.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
Many thanks,

The White House does prop trading now?

I'm curious about the firm WH Trading. Does anyone know anything about it? Has anyone worked there? Is it possible to transition from WH into a top tier firm?
