Wharton for RE in Europe?

Good day fellow humans,

I posted here about a year ago about real estate trying to figure out whether it would be possible to transition from my industry field into REPE, and what exactly is REPE. I have come a bit of a long way since then, and now I am even more confused.

I got accepted at Wharton a couple of weeks ago and I am now contemplating to go or not to go. Obviously the investment is quite large, two years of not earning a salary + $200k of tuition is not small. I have the intention of going back to Europe later, which is why I am only considering that particular school as it has the strongest alumni base in London as well as the strongest real estate program. However, all the alumni I talk to all tell me that it is a great decision, life changing, etc... None of them have anything negative to say - I believe they are extremely biased, given who would acknowledge that they spent way too much money on a program they could have done without?

My question is: if you are in Europe do you see an MBA as adding value to your career in real estate? And in general what do you think of MBAs in development/PE/etc...?

PS: This post is quite vague as I am still trying to get my head around it, and I have all of January to make a decision. Any extra information you believe is useful I really would not mind. Thanks
