What Are People in Rx Banking Doing Now?
Given the lack of deal flow for Rx banking relative to 2020, what are individuals in the space doing now? Is deal flow picking up at all or are you basically just pitching more. I'm assuming this will directly affect bonuses, how large will the bonuses be cut? Any clarity would be really appreciated.

Depends on what the mandate is. A lot of RX IB shops have different/multiple mandates. I.e. debt placement (outsourced LevFin), capital structure advisory, and/or M&A. Yes, we’ll be pitching more on the RX side given the deals aren’t as plentiful, but given the hot m&a and ease of capital markets a lot of us are plenty busy.
