What are some good programs in California?
Hey Guys,
I'm a resident of California and would like to know what are some good programs for either a Masters in Finance or MBA that would be good to attend for working as an analyst or consultant? Please give examples from decent to top schools that would be recruited in the LA/SF areas. Thank you for your responses.
the usual suspects: Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, USC.
In addition to the above, Claremont McKenna has a solid masters in finance program.

Where would I be able to find placement statistics for other schools? Also, are there any other mediocre schools that are decent for landing a job?
Stanford has a pretty good Management Science and Engineering program. http://www.stanford.edu/dept/MSandE/cgi-bin/
It also has the more prestigious and quant-oriented Masters of Financial Mathematics (MSFM) program, on par perhaps with the Haas-Berkeley MFE program. http://finmath.stanford.edu/ http://www.haas.berkeley.edu/MFE/ Of course, acceptance rates to both of these programs are brutal, but the rewards of getting in are sweet. Berkeley MFE/Stanford MSFM basically 100% guarantee a high-paying (median: ~150k) first job..
Best of luck!

Officiis harum nihil aut fugit repellat natus ducimus. Voluptate hic doloribus molestiae ea. Cumque eius impedit id nihil. Aut qui veritatis ut aliquid provident hic illum. Autem quae rerum omnis.
