What are you guys actually doing when I call you?
I am a college freshman, and I have been doing a lot of informational interviews over the phone. One thing that I am curious about is what are you actually doing when I call? Everyone I talk to always agrees upon some random time in a week or two. I've only ever had one person reschedule out of ~30. How do you know you will be free then? I thought the banking schedule was a lot more unpredictable than this.
You sort of know when some big pitches or bidding deadlinse are, so some peak work load can be anticipated.
We just take the call from behind our desk, whilst we’re either doing some menial work or nothing at all
Very busy. 100 hours a week, pulling all nighters.
