What are your opinions on Corporate Banking - FIG?
I've heard that its difficult to transition from as you don't learn as many transferable skills.
It seems like something I would be interested in, but I don't want to do banking long term. I would like to move on to corporate finance or government finance roles after a year or so.
FIG Corporate Banking? (Originally Posted: 05/31/2014)
What exactly is the role of FIG corporate banking? Is it correspondent banking? I got an interview for a group that specializes in correspondent banking in the corporate banking division of a large european bank.
I am just curious how everything fits in here because I feel like I am getting different definitions after searching, and I am not sure if this bank in particular is structured differently because it's Europe based?
Any thoughts? Thanks
