What CB level would I Enter?
I'm wondering if I entered Corporate Baking after graduate school, at what level would I enter? I have 7 months of grad-internship experience at a couple of F100 companies, one role was an energy analyst and the other was a CF role. The experience is pretty strong, at one of my internships I pitched a new type of contract structure and the company ran with it for a prospective client, and the contract is worth $300m-$500m. I'm going to be enrolling into either a quant-finance 1 year masters at a mediocre school, or a Corp Fin/Banking 1 year master of finance at a Top 5 school.
If I entered corporate banking post-grad, would I be considered a first year analyst, 2nd year/senior analyst, or would I be able to enter associate level?
If you apply for an FT role you'd be an A1, it's extremely unlikely that they'd accommodate you. I had over a years worth of experience before I did a summer in CB, and they offered me the normal FT role as an A1.
You could apply directly and maybe get an A2 role, but it would be unlikely since you haven't worked for a year yet.
Unless you're going to do an MBA, you will not enter at the associate level straight out of school.
Note; this is for the UK, not sure about the US!

If you apply for a graduate scheme, you'll be an A1 no matter what you do and your salary will be the same as the rest of your class. (On the bright side, all of your experience will make you better equipped to outperform your colleagues!)
However, if you apply to open positions for experienced hires, you may be able to spin your experience for an A2 role.
I would suggest networking with people working in teams that interest you and try to get them to help you out if they have any A2 roles going. Unfortunately, I think it's more likely that you'd be recruited as an A1 due to a lack of FT experience. If you're after a better salary, try to do CB at somewhere like Citi where you get paid more.
In the UK, MSc grads join as analysts (yes... you might be older than your boss) unless they’ve worked FT for 2-3 years before
