What do I do as a high schooler to set myself up for success?

To preface, I'm Canadian, but this could probably help any Americans lurking in this forum.

Next year I'm heading to uni, plan on applying to Ivey, Waterloo AFM/CFM, and some other school, I know that in uni you gotta grind, intern, network, etc. but what can I do in high school to set myself up?

I'm top three in most my classes academically, I started a financial education organization with my friends with a decent following (300+), started a regional chess club, etc.

Asides from what I'm already doing, should I just keep my head down, get good marks and a part time job, or is there anything else I should be doing? (Like tryharding for massive scholarships)

Make friends and don't forget to enjoy yourself.

Don't be that guy that finally lands the junior SA gig but has made no friends or experiences from 3/4 of your time at college. The off-topic forum is full of nerds and virgins that haven't kissed a girl, let alone talked to one without salivating or sweating. Don't be that guy.

And odds are, you aren't that ugly. Work out, wear clothes that fit, don't smell bad, and you are ahead of 1/2 of HS/college males focusing on those things you can control.
