What do you eat on a day-to-day basis at work?

I've been in IB for some time now and I still struggle to find a reasonably priced, healthy, delicious or filling breakfast/lunch/dinner combination. I'm also trying to avoid foods that cause energy crashes in the afternoon or are not filling enough (such as weak salads). I've also been experimenting with intermittent fasting but I don't think this has helped (only have a coffee in the morning).

For the next few weeks, I'm thinking of drinking protein/powdered oats everyday as meal replacements to minimize cost and maximize efficiency. Hopefully it'll be delicious as well and provide a decent energy uplift.

I work out at the gym sometimes in the evening.

Keen to hear about your routines and life hacks.

Breakfast: -Oatmeal w/ chopped banana and peanut butter -2 Hard boiled eggs w/ salt and pepper -Whole wheat Pita Bread (1 whole piece) w/ some fruit jam -1 whole grapefruit

(pick 2 or 3 of the above - stay away from cereal even tho it’s easy, tons of sugar and waste of calories.)

Lunch: 1-2 ounces of mixed nuts (two handfuls - some mix of almonds/walnuts/cashews etc.) ONE handful of healthier chips: Trader Joe’s plantain chips (delicious!) or Kettle Cooked Salt and Vinegar chips Tuna salad sandwich on whole wheat bread or in a pita bread pocket OR PB&J OR if i’m feeling fancy - cook up 3 or 4 bean tacos. (Garbanzo/Black beans/ Frozen bell peppers and fry up corn tortillas w/ Tostitos salsa - takes 15 minutes)

If none of the above work - I keep Marie Callendar’s frozen chicken/turkey pot pies in the fridge (900 cals). Delicious but can make you sleepy in the afternoon since they’re a little heavier - good source of some protein.

Dinner: Ground turkey meat tacos with corn tortillas/ beans / cooked spinach Grilled salmon (4-6 oz.) / Grits / Green beans Grilled tilapia / baked yam (eaten like a baked potato) with a little butter and cinnamon / green beans

Snacks: Popcorn (popped over the stove, not that microwave shit) with garlic ms. Dash / pinch of salt / a little fresh melted butter Dried Mango (sparingly) Dark chocolate covered almonds (sparingly)

Mixed and match these main foods throughout the entire week and it’s worked very well for me. WFH full time as an intern right now so it’s somewhat feasible with a 60-80 work week lifestyle.
