What does this mean?

I emailed an alumni saying
"I am pursuing so and so at XX college.I am in interested in your field and would like the opportunity to ask you some questions via a follow-up e-mail or phone call. "

She replied "I am happy to chat with you about. Let me know what works for you."

Does it mean she wants me to email questions or wants to know whether phone or email would be convenient for me.

Sorry for the stupid question.

take some initiative and propose a time for you to speak. Ask him/her if they could provide their phone number so you may call. When you call, lead the conversation, and if the responses you receive are long, then do them justice with some intelligent follow up questions. End the call with a bit of humor and hint that you're interested in the recruiting process once it gets underway... be confident
