I would say a guy who has spent two or so years as an Analyst at say an Eastdil can probably have firms getting on their knees.
I'm partial but I'm a big proponent of debt and equity placement for younger professionals. You get exposed to a lot of different areas of the business compared to investment sales. If you get a job with a top shop then you will be surrounded by highly educated, top performers but it doesn't feel too elitist or exclusive.
