What grade system should I use while applying?
Hi guys,
I'm currently a student in Spain, coming from a non target and I'm just about to start my sophomore year. My grades right now are "7.92/10". Should I put "Second-class honours" instead in my application for Spring Weeks? My thoughts are that maybe it will give me better results given that it's the equivalent and I understand that it is the minimum required to pass the cut-off.
Thanks.
Isn't it, like, impossible to get Spring Weeks in the UK without having top-notch grades from a target? I'd imagine it's even tougher from a non-target in continental Europe.
It definetly is hard, but I know a guy at my university who had a phone interview for a SP with JP Morgan. He failed.
It makes me think is not impossible to get a call, and I think easier than getting an internship. Thoughts?
I've been in a similar position and just put both. I would say "7.92/10 (UK equivalent of Upper Second Class Honours" or whatever the equivalent is.
Note that my university had a rubric with which to translate your grades into other systems - so I could back this up. Don't make it up if you can't point to a source for how you calc'd it.
