What is a tranche of a stock exactly? Where can I find a company stock's tranches, # of shares, prices?
Like the title, I'm doing a comp model here and I'm confused with "tranches." I don't see them on Nasdaq or Yahoo Finance (or maybe they are there but Idk where to look at). Can anyone please help? Thank you so much

You need to look at company filings...
Are you talking about option tranches and strike prices? CTRL+F and search the filings...
Hey man ! Thank you so much for your response ! yes I'm talking about option tranches and strike prices, but where exactly to find them in SEC filings? Sorry I'm new to this. I've only used financial statements in 10-Ks so far...
Well the 10k is the right place to look and if they don't break it out there they likely won't in the 10q.
Just keep scrolling until you see any mentions of options. I can't tell you an exact place the information is and with that being said you should probably go through a few different Co. 10Ks and familiarize yourself with them...just like we all had to.
Exact breakdown of the options are in the notes to the consolidated financial statements. General options trends are likely to be in the MD&A
Thank you ! This is extremely helpful.
