I know folks in both establishments, they are all very happy. GS is probably the old "haven of prestige", but if you look at JP's innovation agenda and what they have announced in that space, they are also good.
it would be good to know what area you are looking at, what bu/group, etc
I am going between securities underwriting and M&A. Both are appealing to me (and if you have a suggestion, please let me know, thanks). I am leaning more toward JPM because it looks like they have a more positive and constructive culture, but I don't know. Do you know if JPM internships are easier to get or harder to get than Goldman?
