What is the difference between JPM's CIB and CB segment?
CIB stands for corporate & investment banking. CB stands for commercial banking. I definitely understand the unique part of both but I have seen some overlaps, as an outsider. Hopefully, any folks with JPM inside knowledge can enlighten me here.
Some overlaps I have seen including both segments provide wholesale payments and treasury services. Also, CB now covers large corporate. So If CB provides treasury services to large corps, it will have a conflict right since CIB also serves the same?
Thanks for any insights!
