What is the $$$ potential in banking at 7-14 yrs

Im new to this forum. Not sure how to word this but, how much $$$ can you make in banking, ibanking, private equity etc. after let's say 7-10 yrs then at 15 yr mark?

I am in IT Consulting specifically ERP(SAP/Oracle) but on the sales side. I've been in the biz for 7+ yrs but i want to make more and am considering going back to school for an MBA to get in to banking. I plan on being at 250-330k in the next 3-5 yrs then getting out of the work force and partenering with a VC.

How long does it take to make 300k+ in banking?

300K+ in banking? About 5 years probably. After 14 years in banking I'd suspect you'd be making well north of $1m a year.
