What is your go to font for Excel models?
Arial or Times New Roman crew checking in.
Depends on how I am feeling that particular day. What is yours?

Arial 10, don't be extra
Calibri. Serifs are for dense text, otherwise you want that clean look
Cambria
Arial 10
Calibri gang
You have cancer. I'm sorry.
Cambria fo lyfe
Comic Sans
Curlz MT master race
Calibri. I find tasteful corner-rounding and subtle playfulness just the thing to take the edge off the numbers.

edit: meant Calibri, not Cambria
Parentheses, usually general except for top rows in each section as currency, yes absolutely.
Parentheses Accounting Yes OK why not GTFO GTFO I don't have time to type shit up read the pdf Call me a cretin but I picture paste my perfectly formatted excel work
Parentheses Accounting Yes
You're wild for the rest of it though
Parentheses, currency, commas
Wingdings
Arial, it's the kindest on the eyes and easiest to read.
I try to make my models so user friendly that it looks like Fisher Price made them
Arial’s traditional…looks like shit tho
Wingdings 3
Garamond. First job in repe used garamond and I haven't switched since.
As for negative numbers, I show them with parentheses in red.
My firm just switched to Garamond for all pitchbooks, it's a solid look.
Interstate
It's an EY thang
Nice. Open Sans is a free, close alternative if you ever lose access to Interstate.

Garamond
Depends on use case but I like Futura or Century Gothic. Easy to read.
For work, Arial 10, zoomed 80%, which is pretty standard in the industry. Can't stand models that use Calibri. For my personal Excel workbooks, I also use Segoe UI 11, it has much more spacing compared to Arial and hence is easier to look at; Garamond 12 also produces aesthetic-looking spreadsheets.
Segoe UI is so underrated
Your mother in a two piece.
Calibri 10 or GTFO...
Calibri..... god we are fucking nerds
Calibri 11. Coworker used wingdings in a model for a comp chart - thought he was retarded until I realized that it makes jaunty check or x marks.
Calibri 10 off the rip
This upsets me more than it should...
Calibri font size 11. Always been that way
Century Gothic 8.5
Turn off grid lines you fuck.
Just discovered Trebuchet MS because someone sent me a "model" they downloaded off of MS Office.. Actually, the font was quite nice.
Arial Narrow 10 !
Comic Sans
Arial 10 gang
Rise up
Calibri
Shocked at the lack of Times New Roman. Guess I’m an outlier
Garamond
calibri 10, anything else seems a bit hardo.
Arial Narrow is underrated.
Left the Calibri gang when I went to a firm that used Times. My current one uses Palatino Linotype, and I’m serif fonts for life.
Also, I started using Garamond for my resume a few years ago and never looked back.
Times New Roman??? Do you have a foot fetish and want little tiny feet on all of your letters????
Arial narrow, 10.
Times new roman for some things are good but for an excel model, straight boner killer.
