Hey 2rigged2fail, I'm here to break the silence...any of these links help you?:

If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...
Exactly same as you mate, must be something about us AM London guys
chill gang
~57 bpm, I too got the new fancy Apple Watch this Christmas
Apple Watch isn’t fancy. Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Solar is fancy.
posh watch :(
Generally mine sits in the high 40's - call it 48 ish - most of the time. I also used to track HRV, etc.
What's terrifying is that after a night out (or even a few drinks really) - comparing HRV, resting heart rate, etc. If that doesn't get you to cut back on drinking, don't know what will.
How do you like the watch? I've considered getting back into it and buying one of the newest models.
Yes a lot of my friends have cut back after getting Whoops for a similar reason...being able to quantify the impact of a night out definitely makes you stop and think more about moderation.
yeah I've been monitoring it after arguments and it raises 5bpm during a heated debate.
it's more useful than I expected. been using voice memos more frequently to remember stuff - grocery lists etc.
how much do you guys run? Reading this responses I thought my heart was F'd with a bpm of high 50's low 60's drinking 4 cups of coffee a day min, then all research showing typical heart rate ranges form 60-90.
I've done 141km this mont in 22 runs, but some of these were walks. Wbu
I do 2-3 runs per week and each one will be for 1-2 miles around the neighborhood, averaging ~7:30 mile. I'm not crazy athletic person by any means, just wondered what others did.
Just got an 84 but counted myself so could be some error. Gotta love being a hungover nicotine addict. I generally run/bike 2 or 3 times a week for about 45 minutes
35-38 bpm
~70. I need to do more cardio. I’m lean and lift weights 6x a week so I look fit, but my heart could use some more love haha
You scared of cardio because of eroding gains at all? I was once upon a time but 4-5 miles two to three times a week does no harm and keeps cardio strong. Swimming as well
40-45 bpm.
If you're into fitness check out the Garmin watches. Cant recommend enough.
Yeah I have had a Garmin Fenix 5 plus sapphire for a few years and it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Changed my life. Amazing.
I have the same watch (Fenix 5+) and was on the fence at the time given the cost (not much money but Im frugal when it comes to shit like that) and that I already was relatively healthy.
But being able to track things really does lead to greater performance. Whether it's small, such as getting your steps in. Or tracking running pace, swim times, etc. to make sure you are improving.
Then the bonus features such as the GPS maps have saved my ass on hikes and trail runs a number of times. Definitely will be a Garmin lifer
60ish. Training for full IronMan Upgraded to a Garmin Forerunner 945, can't recommend it enough!
Which race are you doing? I did Ironman Boulder (CO) 140.6 in 2019.
Vitoria-Gasteiz in July
Have an Apple Watch and mid 60s to low 70s. I also swim 5 days a week on average and eat pretty damn healthy. I used to not drink coffee but recently started again but just 1 cup around 10-11A. During workouts my bpm jumps to 160ish, I’ll let it drop to 110ish and then continue. I like to get my heart rate variable during workouts
76 - just checked
Why ya'll hear rates so low? Normal range is 50-80.
mine has now been 44-47 bpm over the past few days and my mother is insisting I get a blood pressure monitor.
