What major best prepares for Credit Risk Management?

I used the search function and couldn't find an answer to my question. I understand credit risk and market risk are the same thing.

I was thinking that getting a degree in economics would be best, but is it more important to understand accounting. I also gave finance some thought but when looking over the curriculumn I didn't see anything that seemed as applicable as what I saw under the accounting and economics degrees. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Note: I'm aware of the whole "get a degree is what you like" thing, but I'm just trying to be smart about this.
