what makes a good equity research resume?

I never had any success getting equity research interviews. I don't know why that is. My background might be too technical and quant, and not more business/finance. Can someone provide some bullet points that make a good ER resume that will lead to an interview? Thanks.

My resume was a lot of investing organizations that showed i had concrete experience in investment research (I pitched stocks every few weeks) and I showed that I had concrete experience in my resume by using finance-y jargon like "DCF, NAV, WACC, SOTP, Comps, precedent transactions". I also showed that I knew what I was doing (and not just padding my resume with hollow jargon) by having several stock pitch competition awards listed. These two together led to my resume readers concluding I had the technical skills for the job. Several director/president positions in these organizations showed I had the people skills to do the job since I managed to convince other students to elect me/choose me for those positions.

Hope these few bullets help you.
