What non-obvious factors go into return offers?
So as the summer is coming to an end, it is time for us pledges to come down with panic attacks on return offers. On top of the obvious metrics such as performance or reliability or no egregious mistakes, what else goes into whether an intern gets a return offer or not? I’ve heard things about how people who don’t network internally enough don’t get it so that piqued my interest and I thought maybe there’s more.
Personally so far I think I’ve done well but I would never know until I get that offer I suppose.
